CutTime Acquires the Charms Office Platform from Vanco

CutTime grows its subscriber base by more than 3x and becomes the leading fine arts education program management platform in North America.

St. Augustine, FL (July 5, 2023) - CutTime, LLC announces its agreement to acquire the software, commercial agreements, and current employees of Charms Office and TexasMusicForms.com from Vanco, significantly growing its subscriber base across the USA, especially in California, Texas, Florida and key midwestern states. With the acquisition, CutTime will more than triple its market share and expand its infrastructure to scale best in class customer support across time zones and accelerate growth as the premier program management platform for the fine arts education industry.

Charms Office subscribers can look forward to exciting enhancements such as CutTime’s modernized inventory management capabilities and rapidly expanding workflow-driven tools for communications, financials and member administration. Fine arts district administrators and educators will enjoy faster system response times, more expansive QR code tracking application and simplified member interaction through secure SMS ‘magic’ links, which eliminates login and password reset headaches and facilitates online payments for improved cash flows. Additionally, CutTime will leverage the capabilities behind the Texas Music Forms event management platform to provide enhanced value for fine arts programs in the future.

Music Educators are increasingly feeling the time squeeze. According to a 2022 EdWeek Research survey, teachers can spend up to ten hours per week on administrative related tasks. These high productivity costs are even more challenging for fine arts leaders who are tasked with the additional financial supervision of high value instruments, attire and other essential assets.

“Today’s announcement reinforces CutTime’s commitment to help fine arts program administrators and educators tame the administrative chaos with intuitive workflows that allow them to return more focus to their students,” said Corey Black, CEO of CutTime. “We are excited to welcome Charms Office customers and other strategic partners and give them a seamless transition experience. Our combined passionate customer service team is ready to guide and support them at every step so they can quickly take full advantage of our rapidly expanding toolset.”

Customers attending the Southwest Music Summer Exhibition / Texas Bandmasters Association conference July 20-22, 2023 can also sign up to attend on-site discovery clinics with CutTime staff. Current pricing rates for Charms Office customers remain unchanged and will be guaranteed through their next renewal period through the 2023-2024 school year. Customer support contact via phone at 972-485-1912 (M-F 8am-6pm CDT) and email (charmssupport@charmsmusic.com) also remains unchanged.
